Adonia Ripple
Associate Director of Stewardship and Outreach
adonia@jhlandtrust.org
Adonia joined the Land Trust in December of 2006. Originally from California, Adonia has spent the last ten years living and working in Yosemite National Park. Most recently she Program Directed the Yosemite Institute, an environmental education school serving over 13,000 people annually. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and used it to teach science and mountain guide prior to Program Directing. She decided to trade in her decade of student based work for the more immediately tangible outcome of land conservation. Contrary to popular understanding, there are cold parts of California and the move to Wyoming has been only mildly shocking to her temperature equilibrium. She is passionate about the natural world and spends most of her non-working time heading deep into the mountains or high up a rock. She is married to her best friend Kelsey, is a tea connoisseur, and inherently trusts anyone with pet hair on their clothing.
