John Shepard
Director of Conservationjohn@jhlandtrust.org As the Director of Conservation, John is responsible for the trust’s land protection program, which works to conserve land in and around Jackson Hole, as well as our stewardship program, which oversees all land and conservation easements held by the trust. Prior experience includes roles in fundraising, communications, and natural resource management with Trout Unlimited and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. John is a Phi Beta Kappa alumnus of The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. In his free time he enjoys college football, the writing of John Graves, and fly-fishing for wild trout. |
